Description
Functionality:
- A detector for locating GSM 3G/4G LTE, Bluetooth and WiFi signals represents a new class of devices for protection against hidden devices. Unlike standard detectors, it can detect hidden devices at long distances, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi bugs. Such bugs, particularly Bluetooth bugs, are in fact undetectable by conventional radio frequency detectors due to their low emission levels and modulation type.
- This GSM detector uses a separate high-frequency channel (2.44 / 5.39 GHz) and sensitivity to locate Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices. The detector then processes the demodulated signal to determine which protocol has been detected. Of course, the detector also detects ‘classic’ bugs (GSM, 3G, 4G, 5G, DECT, etc.).
- This innovative device is not simply an advanced version of conventional detectors, but a revolutionary new locator.
Key features:
- The broadband antenna (for the ANT1 socket) provides wider coverage, particularly at lower frequencies, which allows for an increase in the detection range of conventional VHF/UHF devices, whilst maintaining excellent sensitivity in the higher frequency bands (GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth).
- Antenna (for the ANT2 socket) with 2 to 4 times higher sensitivity for all sources above 2 GHz (Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, Bluetooth, Wi-Max, LTE High, etc.). The device can detect the source of the transmitted signal and pinpoint its exact location.
- Magnetic signal detector – install the magnetic probe, switch on the device and press the button to detect a magnetic signal. Once the LED indicator lights up, start the search. When a magnetic signal source is detected, a white LED lights up and you will hear an audible beep.
- RF/MAG switch – after switching to the MAG option, set the sensitivity to the maximum value. Install the magnetic antenna and adjust the potentiometer. Due to its high sensitivity, the detector may be affected by geomagnetism and ferrous objects. Use the rotary knob to adjust the sensitivity to the specific environment.
- Channel ANT1 (1) is used to detect a wide frequency range of 50–6000 MHz for searching for all types of transmitters in cameras, cars, body-worn devices, telephones or other types using various modulation methods, including the following bands: VHF, UHF, GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz, 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Max, 4G (LTE) and others.
- The second channel of the ANT2 (2), labelled "2.44 GHz 5.39 GHz", is used to detect only Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (or other signals at the same frequencies), but with higher sensitivity. The standard search method is to first use the ANT1 antenna, i.e. 50–6000 MHz, to cover a wide range of frequency bands. The area scan procedure should then be repeated with ANT2. You can switch between ANT1 and ANT2 using the ANT1 / ANT2 buttons.
- MODE – after pressing the button, you can set the desired display mode. AUDIBLE ALARM – if a source is found, you will hear an audible alarm from the speaker. VIBRATION MODE – will alert you with a vibration when a source is found. SILENT MODE – no sound and no vibration. The audible alert allows for a quick search, and depending on the specific sound, an experienced operator can identify the source.
Recommendations for using the device:
- Searching for bugs and GPS sensors in a car or office.
- If, for example, you suspect that someone is illegally tapping your phone, you may notice that the phone sends out many signals, even when it is simply on standby.
- Detecting radiation levels from transmission masts on the roof of your workplace or residential buildings.
- Check whether CCTV cameras are pointed at you and monitoring your activities.
- When searching for wireless signals, mobile phone base stations, etc.
- Detecting dangerous levels of microwave radiation.
- Searching for suspicious wireless signals.
- Checking toilets, hotels and entertainment venues for any spy devices in the area.
Instructions for use:
- Due to the detector’s high sensitivity, switch off any nearby communication and digital devices. When working near a source of high radiation, the data may be distorted.
- If the device emits a signal but there are no sources of radiation nearby, there are 3 possibilities:
1. Your communication device is connected to the base station.
2. The suspected source is very close by.
3. You are too close to the wireless router.

EXPLANATORY NOTE:
All products in the Spion category are devices that, by their very nature, have hidden functions and buttons, so that their use is as discreet as possible. Some devices activate automatically thanks to features such as ‘motion detection’, whilst others activate their functions by pressing a special button or buttons. In some cases, products have a single button that reacts differently depending on how it is pressed. For example, a short press activates a specific function of the product, whilst a longer press activates another function.
Our engineers, together with external specialists, have designed our products to be easy to use once the product’s functions and features are known and understood by the user.
We recommend that you consult the user manual when using the device for the first time, as well as whenever you encounter difficulties. You can also contact our support department/call centre, which is trained in the use of iUni devices, to clarify any issues you may have.
WARNING!
Spy cameras fall into the category of surveillance products, which are typically installed in shops and/or showrooms to ensure the security of the goods on display. Whenever such a camera is put into operation, the relevant persons must be informed that they are under video surveillance.
Under current Romanian legislation, the use of these devices is not permitted without the express consent of the person(s) being monitored by them. Under no circumstances should our products be used to record or film the private life of any individual.
iUni Corporation accepts no liability for the use of its devices in breach of applicable legislation and shall not be held liable for the improper or indecent use of ‘spy’ type products.
