The DOD RC400S is a Full HD dashcam that allows you to record in true Full HD resolution, capturing both your route and your vehicle’s speed, whilst the image quality is far superior to that of other dashcams with interpolated Full HD resolution.

The DOD RC400S can be connected to a 12/24V power supply, so it can be used not only in cars but also in other vehicles, lorries or buses. The camera can also be easily attached to the car’s windscreen using 3M adhesive.

This dashcam features a Sony STARVIS image sensor, 10 Hz GPS recording, parking mode and ISO up to 12800.

Recording has a high ISO sensitivity of up to 12800, allowing you to monitor the area around the car even in low light.

Connect seamlessly to the Ministry of Defence camera via the mobile app, available for iPhone and Android. Control the device from the palm of your hand and adjust all the necessary settings.

WDR & ISO 12800

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology ensures that all recordings have perfectly balanced exposure to capture every detail of the movement around you, both day and night.

The DOD RC400S features a new SONY STARVIS CMOS sensor with improved sensitivity not only in normal lighting conditions but also in low light. The increased range enhances the brightness of fast-moving objects at night. Now the camera can capture even more detail in very low-light conditions.

SHARP 6G & 145° WIDE ANGLE

The 6-element lenses, consisting of 6 layers of glass, provide stunningly clear and undistorted images.

DOD cameras have a wide 145° viewing angle, so that every detail is captured on screen. Many incidents can occur at the edge of the screen, and with a narrower angle you may fail to capture the necessary details.

DATE AND TIME SYNCHRONISATION & LOOP RECORDING

Thanks to the built-in GPS module, the date and time displayed in the video clip are always synchronised.

As standard, all DOD cameras feature loop recording, which eliminates the need to remove the Micro SD card for formatting. The oldest file (without a locked event) will be deleted and overwritten with a new one.

PASSWORD PROTECTION AND 32GB MICRO SD CARD

Once you have set a password, you can prevent others from deleting your videos/photos.

The micro SD card supports up to 32GB.

➤ The memory card is not included in the package. We recommend using a Class 10 MicroSD card with a maximum capacity of 32 GB.
➤ This product operates when plugged into the car’s cigarette lighter socket, and the internal battery is used solely to store the date, time and camera settings.
➤ We also recommend that you charge this camera periodically at home using a power cable connected to a wall socket. It is recommended that you charge this camera every 2 weeks using this method. The camera does not come with such a cable in the box. It must be purchased separately.
